Promoting ethical and responsible use of AI technologies is crucial. It is important to educate our students about the ethical and moral implications of AI and encourage them to critically evaluate the potential consequences of AI applications across various industries and fields.

Prompt Engineering

Body

Prompt engineering in the context of Generative AI involves designing and refining prompts or queries to elicit responses from AI models. The process requires crafting clear, specific, and relevant prompts to guide the AI model towards generating high-quality outputs.

Assessment Design

Body

Faculty members have raised concerns about integrating AI tools, such as ChatGPT, into assessment activities and identifying student-generated, machine-generated, or student/machine-generated content. However, CEI believes that solely relying on AI detection tools to detect AI-generated content in students’ output is not the best solution, as technology advances quickly and AI detection tools often lag the advancement of Generative AI.
