Community for Enhancing Intercultural Learning Experience

The objective of this CoP is to form a community of support and experience/practice sharing among faculty and staff members on efforts to enhance quality intercultural learning and competence among both UG and PG students at HKUST. Through regular meetings and sharing from internal and external practitioners, this CoP aims at encouraging faculty and staff members to exchange ideas on successful practices of intercultural teaching and learning, and collectively brainstorm how intercultural teaching and learning may be further enhanced at HKUST.

Community for Sustainability Education

Community for Sustainability Education

The objective of the Sustainability Education CoP is to create a space for multidisciplinary dialogue, collaboration, and support for sustainability education and practice within HKUST. Through meetings, workshops, and other informal gatherings, members will be invited to share their own experiences regarding the adoption and implementation of sustainability education within their course, program, department and/or School. It is expected that the collaborative sharing of diverse experiences will inspire members to trial new pedagogy, integrate sustainability concepts into their learning materials, and design interdisciplinary co-teaching courses.

Community for Entrepreneurial Education

Community for Entrepreneurial Education

To promote the use of non-conventional entrepreneurial elements in all courses across discipline in HKUST, this Entrepreneurship Education CoP aims at sharing the practices of teaching entrepreneurship education and ultimately developing some common learning objects, which will be shared among teaching staff at HKUST. Regular meetings and sharing of practices will be organized to foster the dissemination and transferrable adoption of entrepreneurial-teaching practices.
