About the Conference

The “Leveraging AI For Change in Education” conference is the first of an annual joint-university initiative between the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) aimed at exploring the profound impacts and possibilities of artificial intelligence in educational settings, from K-12 and higher education to vocational training and adult learning.

Gaining Recognition for Teaching through Advance HE Fellowship

This seminar will introduce participants to the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) which outlines 15 dimensions of teaching and learning to guide our practice. Through reflection on these dimensions, teachers can work towards a Fellowship of Advance HE which is the closest you can get to a teaching qualification in Higher Education. The award is globally recognised. The Fellowship application consists of a teaching portfolio, and the seminar will help participants identify, select and generate appropriate evidence of their own effectiveness as teachers.
