InnovatED: VIBE Coding
Start Date

VIBE Coding offers a practical approach to accelerating university operational excellence and institutional transformation. It combines human vision, strategic intent, and domain expertise with AI-supported design, development, testing, and deployment to create solutions faster and more effectively. This approach can help redesign processes, automate routine work, improve service quality, and strengthen responsiveness to institutional needs. Drawing on practical examples from university operations, the session will illustrate how VIBE Coding can support improvement across student services, HR, finance, academic administration, communication, and decision support. It will also show how cross-functional teams can work with AI as a collaborative partner to move from ideas to working digital solutions with far greater speed and agility. Key success factors will be highlighted, including governance, user engagement, rapid iteration, and responsible implementation, helping universities build sustainable capabilities for transformation while ensuring that innovation remains aligned with institutional goals, quality standards, and human judgment.
