Following the successful launch of the first two courses on Special Educational Needs (SEN), we are excited to announce the availability of the third and final course in the SEN series.

This SEN series is a collaborative effort between the Dean of Students Office at HKUST and Hong Kong Baptist University, aiming to equip you with essential knowledge and skills to foster a truly inclusive learning environment for all students.

As we approach the start of a new semester, it is a great time to reflect on our assessment methods and how they can better support our students’ learning. We are excited to invite you to enroll in our new online course ASD-003 Strategies for Effective Assessment Design. This course is designed to provide you with the strategies necessary to create impactful assessments that enhance your teaching practice.

We are excited to introduce the inaugural cohort of Fellows for the Academy of Education Excellence (AEE). This milestone reflects HKUST’s commitment to cultivating exemplary teaching practices and pedagogical innovation.

Last December, the university launched our first self-study online course on Special Educational Needs (SEN). We are now excited to announce the second course, which explores various types of SEN, including hearing impairments, physical disabilities, mental and neurodevelopmental disorders, chronic illnesses, visual and speech impairments, and practical strategies to address these needs.
