School: School of Science
Department: Life Science (LIFS)
Funding Year: 2024/25
Description:

This project expands on ‘Application of Virtual Reality for Animal Dissection Teaching Laboratory: An Innovative Active-Learning Pedagogical Approach’ to create a complete the active-learning VR experience for students across multiple experiments in LIFS1904 (Laboratory for General Biology). This project will deliver (i) a unique customizable Gamification VRP containing 3D models and environments (relevant to Ex.1-Ex.4), an interactive crime scene introduction to set the VR narrative (investigator will collect DNA samples) and full VR experience for each experiment on the course.
