Coastal Environmental Investigation

This project develops a mobile app incorporating gamification with lab simulations in delivering knowledge and other learning activities of laboratory course such as field trips, laboratory sessions and report writing.
Modules available on the app with different stories and missions can achieve multi purposes: increasing students’ understanding of course content; engaging students' in problem solving skills in real-life coastal habitats using different methods and equipment; stimulating students’ participation and communication through interactive mini-games, animations, simulations and videos; providing access to useful English learning resources for effective communication and report writing.
