This briefing is designed for all new RPgs stepping into their roles as Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs). The session will help you understand your responsibilities as a GTA at HKUST and provide an overview of the course requirements and arrangements for PDEV 6800 Introduction to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
The Departmental Briefing Session builds on the general GTA Briefing by offering a focused overview of department‑specific logistics, procedures, and expectations. It ensures that GTAs receive essential, practical information relevant to their own department, helping them begin their teaching duties with confidence and a solid understanding of departmental expectations. The event invitation will be emailed directly to you. If you do not receive the email, please contact the PGC/TAC of your home department.
