Description
A cloud-based collaborative mind mapping tool where users can share ideas by posting textual information, documents, media files, external links, sticky notes, etc.
This tool is available for free and paid subscription.
Functionality
  • Allows unlimited contributors
  • Compatible with Kindle, Android, and iOS devices
  • Supports other languages, i.e. Chinese
  • Content updates and changes are auto-saved
Usage
For in-class activities: Assign group projects/research to students using Padlet as a tool for collaboration. Allow students to present their weekly progress with their Padlet as their portfolio.
For in-class activities: Pose a topic/question for students to brainstorm and respond to during class.
For in-class activities: Use a live question bank where students can post questions for clarification during the class.
For online activities: Use an Exit ticket by asking what the students learned from the session.
For online activities: Create a venue where students can introduce themselves at the beginning of the semester, sharing their interests, hobbies, etc.
