The Senate approved the policy for offering credit bearing online courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in 2017, which was reviewed in 2019.
Both MOOC platforms provide analytics that show student demographics and data on learner activities to help course instructors monitor how learners are doing. Instructors can use such data to
evaluate course components and learners’ performance, and inform decisions when improving the design of course components and user experience.
