The annual Teaching and Learning Symposium provides a stimulating collegial occasion for HKUST community and colleagues from sister institutions to share, explore, reflect, and envision the trends and needs of higher education. Graduate Teaching Assistant Program
University Teaching and Learning (UTL) Program
The University Teaching and Learning (UTL) Program is a mandatory initiative for all new Assistant Professors and Lecturers with teaching duties at the University. It is designed to equip early-career faculty with essential skills in university teaching and learning, forming part of the Academy of Education Excellence's (AEE) micro-credentials.
Program Structure
New Faculty Orientation
Faculty Orientation is an introductory program for all teaching staff who have recently joined HKUST. It is offered twice a year in August and January and specifically designed to take account of some key aspects of teaching and learning in the context of HKUST.
