Key Insights on AI-Driven Change in Higher Education

HKUST, as a founding member, hosted the Digital Education Council’s Global Summit 2025 on November 4-5. This event brought together 200 leaders from 82 institutions across 25 countries at our Clear Water Bay campus to explore how higher education can adapt to and lead through change, especially in the era of AI.

A report highlighting key insights from the summit has been compiled, structured around defining, implementing, teaching, and measuring change related to AI.

These insights are particularly relevant for university administrators, faculty, and teaching staff seeking to enhance their strategies and approaches in this evolving landscape.
