Description
In-video activity (IVA) is an LTI tool developed by CEI in 2023. It allows users to create interaction, such as questions, within a learning video. The learning videos can be hosted in the HKUST Video Management System where users can get insights from the video analytics.

Functionality
- Allows users to create in-video activities on videos uploaded in HKUST VMS
- Allows users to insert questions (with feedback) within a lecture video, i.e., multiple-choice single/multiple answers, free-test response, call-to-action
- Allows gradable and non-gradable questions
Usage
For online activities: Allow students to watch lecture videos and complete in-video activities to check their understanding and for better retention.
For online activities: Use videos to present content and insert in-video questions as knowledge checks.
