Description: |
This project aims to enhance the learning experience of COMP2711, “Discrete Mathematical Tools for Computer Science”, through the implementation of interactive Math games. To spare class time for game-based activities, this project also plans to revamp COMP2711 into a blended learning mode. Students will learn all the basic MATH theories through a series of clear and concise knowledge chunks that are easy to understand before class. Game-based activities, including board games, puzzle games, brain teasers, and real escape games, are prepared to make learning more enjoyable, encourage active participation, foster critical thinking skills, and provide immediate feedback. This project is not just a simple revamp of the course but seeks to make the learning experience more complete through online knowledge chunks and game-based activities. |
