Mentimeter is now integrated with Canvas

We are pleased to announce that Mentimeter is now integrated with Canvas. This new integration allows you to embed live or self-paced Menti activities directly within your Canvas courses lets you create presentations with live polls, word clouds, scales, rankings, quizzes and more to keep your students engaged and excited throughout your teaching.
Key benefits of this integration:
- Seamless Workflow: Create, edit, preview, and present Menti activities without leaving the Canvas environment.
- Ease of Use: Add the Menti activity as a standard Canvas item for a consistent experience for both you and your students.
- Grade Syncing: Automatically track student participation and sync quiz results directly to the Canvas Gradebook.
Two participation modes:
- Anonymous participation (Non-graded):
Add Mentimeter as a Module item using the External Tool option. This is ideal for low-stakes polls, feedback sessions, icebreakers, or self-paced activities.
- Graded participation: Add Mentimeter as a Canvas Assignment and enable Names and Login settings. This allows you to track student participation or quiz results, and sync scores to the Canvas Gradebook.
