| Description: | This project proposes establishing a Digital Literacy Hub within HKUST’s Center for Language Education (CLE) to provide a centralised platform plus structured, student-led support (consultations and workshops) for students to create, refine, and publish multimodal digital work (e.g., memes, promotional reels, podcasts/vlogs) as part of authentic, process-based assessment in LANG1405 and LANG2067. Its main scope is to build the Hub infrastructure, recruit and train student TAs (as “students-as-partners”) to act as digital production consultants, integrate Hub-based checkpoints for formative feedback and peer/self reflection, and curate a growing repository of student artefacts and exemplars that can also support wider faculty adoption of multimodal assessment. |
