How to Gamify: Ideation

Gamification has become increasingly popular and more educators want to incorporate it into their teaching. However, simply adding points, badges or leaderboards into a course may not be enough to achieve the objectives. If gamified experience is not designed properly, it is making fun of learning instead of making learning fun.

In this workshop, we played a game together to scaffold gamification step by step. Also, we provided samples and guiding questions for you to build your own game. After the workshop, you can consolidate your gamification ideas with some feasible solutions to embark on your gamification journey.
