Buddy UP and Get Onboard - Deep-Dive Virtual Facilitation Program

This deep-dive virtual facilitation program is a very (virtually) hands-on series, designed to have you apply what you learn immediately in your own courses/programs. To help you achieve this, we will have you buddy up with a colleague, to support and challenge each other between workshops.
How do you get your quieter participants to open up and share? What is psychological safety, and why is this so important with virtual training? Can you overcome your Zoom fatigue and that of your participants? How do I make learning even more engaging and impactful than in-person workshops?
If you want answers to these questions, this is the workshop series for you.
In these 3 x 90-min interactive, online workshops, we’ll cover best practices and activities for facilitating groups online. We'll cover:
- Welcoming and orienting attendees
- Designing for participation
- Managing participants' energy and engagement
- Developing your presence online
- Easing participants into new technology
- Energizers and connection activities
- Collaborative brainstorming, clustering, and deciding
- Managing breakouts
- Participatory group work
